Seminar on copy right issues 5/12

SULF/Uppsala, together with Saco-S at Uppsala University, invites you to a seminar on copyright issues with Sanna Wolk, chair of SULF, the national labor union for university teachers and researchers. The seminar is in English and is open to all who work at UU.

Who owns the copyright to a university teacher's recorded lecture? Can the employer replace you with your recorded lectures that you recorded during the Corona pandemic? What happens to your teaching material and research data when you move to another university?

The questions concerning university employees' new work situation, with an increasingly high degree of digitization, are many and complex. The corona pandemic meant that in a very short time we moved into the world of digital distance learning. In addition, it is becoming more and more common for universities to try to appropriate the rights to the material that teachers and researchers produce in their employment in various ways, making the issue of intellectual property rights hotter than ever.

  • Time: Monday 5 December, at 15.30-16.00
  • Location: University building, room XI
